A clock, a picture, a gap
Three things and nothing more. The clock decides the hour. The picture is the four pillars. The gap is where this year presses on them.
01The clock
Hour branches follow the Korean clock: every branch is shifted thirty minutes. Horse runs 11:30 to 13:29. Rat runs 23:30 to 01:29. One o'clock in the afternoon is Horse. This is not negotiable, and the English site uses exactly the same function as the original.
02The picture
Year, month, day, hour. We do not call this a scorecard. The day stem is the person holding the picture. The other three letters are the room, the season and the hour around them.
03The gap
This year's letters are weather over that picture. A loud year is not a prize. A quiet year is not a punishment. We name where the two press on each other and leave the rest to you.
04Words we do not use
We do not name a school for you. We do not decorate the page with lucky charms. We do not say a year will make you rich, sick or married. We do not sell a private hour.
05Checking the clock
